Since childhood, I have been intrigued with people’s life stories and how they think about things. I also love to play and so it seemed natural that my initial focus as a psychologist was on adolescents and children with a specialization in family therapy. This has involved intense work with parents which I love.

Over time, I have accrued thousands of real time observations of how different life stages impact our development and response to treatment. This has led to a specialization in phase-of-life issues in adulthood. To my surprise, I found that my work with one age group has enriched my work with the other. It has added a depth and richness to my knowledge of core issues dealt with throughout our lives, diversified my skill base and has become an organic approach to treating individuals.
